Fox said on the post game that he'd only had 2 1/2 practices and "didn't have clue as to what was going on"....Big C said:
A couple of minutes early off the bench in each half, plus a few minutes at the end. One board and 0-1 from the line. My first thought when he came in: Long-limbed and thin. With a longer look: Thin, yes, but not weak. Hope to see more soon!
Anyone know the timetable on Kuany?Alkiadt said:Fox said on the post game that he'd only had 2 1/2 practices and "didn't have clue as to what was going on"....Big C said:

Kuany being out did change their rotations too.

Anyanwu loomed great. High energy, good hands a great rebounder.

Kuany was in uniform (unlike Thorpe and Bowser) and taking shots in warmups, so I'd have to think he'll be back soon.
I am glad to hear that because he really had a bit of the deer-in-the-headlights look going on.Alkiadt said:Fox said on the post game that he'd only had 2 1/2 practices and "didn't have clue as to what was going on"....Big C said:

My wife got a concussion in February. She is still having symptoms and is likely to continue having them for months to come.
So far the two freshmen look better .Big C said:
I'm no doctor. I suppose a concussion could last awhile, if you keep having headaches, etc. The timing of it probably isn't right for it to be grades. Thorpe was also out on the court during warm-ups prior to the second half, in a Cal polo and sweats, grabbing balls that went through the net and tossing them back out to shooters. He was smiling at times.
Jahvid Best had two concussions at Cal, 8 days apart, I believe. He had a few more playing in the NFL. Sometimes had symptoms for quite a while, and sometimes felt better sooner. He was forced to retire from football, even though he felt well, but he may not have passed the NFL or Detroit Lions protocol standard. concussions are a serious matter, and not to be disregarded, even if symptoms do not last or do not appear. It is a shame basketball today at times inches toward resembling football without pads or helmet. That fall of Bowser's last season caused a severe blow to the head. I was amazed that he was not out of games for a longer time. When he came back, he played sparingly. His current injury is listed as an ankle injury. Thorpe's injury is listed as "undisclosed - out indefinitely"Big C said:
