With school not in session this week, what is the parking situation for the 3pm game? Will there be parking at RSF, or are pass holders moved to Underhill again? And for people without parking passes, does anyone know the best parking options?

There has been no recent emails denying season ticket holders their normal lots. If you do not have a permit, park in the church lot off Channing below Dana. $10 cash must be put in slot. Street is all two hour. Kips garage another option. I think the students are gone. Parking will be tough. Get there as earlyas you can. Likely rain, virus and metal checkers and the normal short staffing. Umbrellas ok

Some will park in their normal lots. I doubt they will police it but park in Underhill for no risk.

The weekday afternoon game last month, I parked on the street in a two hour zone and hoped I wouldn't get a ticket. It worked.

Maybe CoB Parking is even more relaxed today, with light traffic due to school being out + maybe they're in the generous holiday spirit!

On the other hand, maybe they have a quota to meet to get their holiday bonus, got hip to this and are marking all cars parked before 3:00.

Bottom line: Are you feeling lucky, punk? I am! Headed out there in a few minutes...

EDIT: It worked again, no ticket. Was parked in the 2 hour zone for about 2 1/2 hours. Lucky me!

Parked in my normal lot, Ellsworth, no problem. No ticket takers. Plenty of room.

The Bad: Years ago I parked in a residential area in Berkeley that had a 2 hour limit for people without permits. The meter maid marked my tire right after I got out of my car. I made a point of coming back in less than 2 hours and still got a ticket.

The Good: If you are disabled, you can get a pass from the City of Berkeley to park in their 3 city owned parking garages for free.

In San Francisco, I got a parking ticket while sitting in my car. The meter man did not even get out of his vehicle. He just took a picture of the back of my car, and a ticket was mailed to me.
