Virus was brutal for him and has been encouraged to redshirt, but He is leaning on not taking it as he is strongly academic oriented - same position as Bowser. The virus led to missing over 6 weeks of practice and he simply fell too far behing the other players at his posiition.

Some should tell them that it's just like the flu.

Yeah, I'd see it the other way. Someone who is strongly academic would like to redshirt, get their Cal degree maybe even early, then be able to grad transfer with eligibility remaining and get a grad degree paid for.

Someone could get injured and we might need him. Foreman is already on borrowed time .
Go Bears!

Our vaccinated 27 year old had Covid at Christmas and had a fever in the morning and was feeling back to normal by 10 PM that night. Was back to his full weight training regimen in two days. Sorry it was so tough on Roberson and thinking it is different depending on the person and vaccine status.

My 22 year old nephew and his girlfriend, both vaccinated, came down with it at Christmas. Her symptoms were mild but he was laid out for 24 hrs with high fever then started feeling much better the next day and has had declining symptoms for over a week. Coming up on the one year anniversary of his father's death.
