Aas much as Zona, UCLA and USC have talented team worth watching,, this is another strange year for the Pac on several accounts. I suppose ASU and USC should be happy they can even play the game.

The Stanford player flopped to get that foul call with a second left, as you can see in the video below. Scroll about two-thirds of the way through the video clip.

Not sure about calling it a flop. Defender ends up standing with both feet out of bounds. It is hard to tell whether or not contact was made or if the jumper leaned into draw contact. You gotta be careful about the close out there.BearSD said:bearister said:joe amos yaks said:

It was a Harden-esque lean in to draw contact. In the NBA the official could call a foul based on the defender encroaching on the shooter's landing space -- but AFAIK there's no specific college basketball rule on that.socaltownie said:Not sure about calling it a flop. Hurley has got to coach with poise no matter how bad the officials are. Believe Billy Tubbs when he was coaching at Oklahoma grabbed the PA mic when the fans were booing and started out right saying we are Oklahoma and we show sportsmanship and don't boo no matter how bad the officiating is.

not good leadership
Well, perhaps when Hurley played at Duke, he grew accustomed to getting calls.
