If he has Ukrainian citizenship (or dual) I wonder, if he had stayed and then tried to get out after the invasion, he would have qualified as a 18-60 Ukrainian male with mandatory orders to join the fight. They are pulling all such guys out of their cars and off of busses at the borders to make them join the fight.

Randle tweeted that he will be at the Cal-Furd game today, and earlier tweeted that he had been in Spain with the Ukrainian team when Putin started the attack on Ukraine. He apparently has dual citizenship.

He would just have needed to show his US passport.

If he's a citizen of Ukraine, he should go back and fight for his country. I'm sure he took an oath to defend Ukraine against invaders.

Sure I guess he could just show his US passport and not let them know he was also a Ukranian citizen. Maybe a problem if someone recognized him, given that he is a star pro basketball player there.

The Ukrainian team was playing in Spain. Ukraine is under a no-fly zone, there are no commercial fights in or out. I guess if he really wanted to, he could fly into Poland and sneak across the border to most likely die fighting the Russian army. I wonder if any of his teammates did? Unlike most of them, Ukraine is his adopted country (his wife's?), so not sure he is willing to be a martyr. He can probably do more good as a spokesman for them here in the US.
