I'm glad to see Cal basketball, like Cal football, has a successful season; I conclude this from tonight's glorious victory over the furds. You see, I'm becoming a gutless sunshine pumper.....

We've been oscillating between "mediocre" and "sucking" in both football and basketball for a while now, but beating Stanfurd is always enjoyable... because they suck BIG TIME!

I was a student from 80-84. We were not good. Beating Stanford was the primary objective. Mix in a few upsets and that was a good season.
