"Holloway was heavily recruited out of High School and when it was time to decide on a school he narrowed down his list down to California, Duke, Georgia Tech and Seton Hall. He decided to stay home and chose the Seton Hall Pirates as his college. For three of his four years in High School he made the All State team and along with Mike Bibby, was one of the best point guards in the country (1996 Class)."

i remember that and was surprised to see he was coaching st pete. congrats to him and st pete for the upset of the day!

My recollection is that he chose Seton Hall over Cal because he had a kid when he was in high school and decided to stay close to home.
