on espn radio there was a discussion of Golden to Florida, and how he (and his USF) predecessor used analytics to scout players to recruit (including in transfer portal) and as a way to optimize their playing, and to scout opponents
I remember reading before that (I think) Michigan having something like 5 grad assistants who just did analytics for the team
So with Cal's world class math program, can we get a few sports loving math grads to help our teams?
