Not just because of the academic grades admissions standards, but also because of core class eligibility?

I think the real answer "we don't know." Once they get to .500 or even better close to making the tournament, then you can see how this progresses. But right, the post-grad program was huge..

The post grad program would have been "huge" if we had it at the beginning of the grad transfer rule. Unfortunately it took us years to get in place, just in time for the Transfer Portal to become far more important. I suspect that academics are an issue for transfers, but we don't know. We have lost far more talent to the Portal than we have brought in, even though the transfers in have a played a huge role on the team.

Whether freshmen, undergrad transfers, or grad transfers most good players aren't likely to be interested in a program consistently battling for 10th, 11th, and 12 place with no indication of improvement. And if there's a problem with a coach it doesn't look like the department will be of any help.

Would be a boost if we added a social media certificate and/or sports management certificate program

Both are big and growing industries and legit fields of study

What the heck are "certificates?" Just create a bunch of these useless things and get some ballers in here!

The football team will have Portal transfer players that have prominent roles this season, and a couple of them are expected to be on all conference teams. So whatever Wilcox is selling, it is working. Then there is Fox.
