The Dwinelle Hall Annex is also a burial ground for the remains of History majors that got lost there in the 1970's and were never seen again.

*They showed Deep Throat at Dwinelle when I was at Cal. How weird was that?

Nah. Spaniards stole the land of Berkeley from the indigenous folks in 1820. Mexico stole the land from them a year later. The US stole it from Mexico in 1848, through the use of god chosen white emigrant settler's years of trouble making. The Peraltas sold the land, under duress, to land speculators who used political connections to move UC out of Oakland to the present site.

It's business.

If I recall correctly, Mexico had a relatively small number of men holding a vast area / empire and were unable to defend their territory.
