I'm here just for the entertainment value. I got my grad degree from UCSD and I live 15 minutes from campus. It didn't even occur to me to go to the game tonight (I forgot Cal had a game until 10 minutes ago). I used to go to sports bars so I didn't miss a single game!

My local area Cal friends all gave up on the team in the past 5 years, so I would have nobody to go with anyway.

If you really think about it, it's sad as hell. So I just go the comfortably numb route.

This and UC Davis used to be the blow out tune ups we wondered if playing them did any good for strength of schedule. Now they are asking that about us. Seriously, how did the entire athletic department bottom pout this bad so quickly. We used to compete for conference titles and the Director's Cup.
