Remember when Fox mentioned 2 walk-ons as part of his press conference injury report lol. I know it tickled Sluggo and it really might be one of Mark's greatest Cal moments.
I really wish I didn't have ESPN+ right now. UCSD has a better atmosphere at their court than Haas these days. We're talking about UC frickin San Diego. It was his issue at Georgia too. Fox cares more about getting long guys tgst can play man defense. This was all predictable unless he had a brain and personality transplant.

That hiring signaled to the world that Cal wasn't interested in competing at the highest level. Prior to that day, I naively believed otherwise.

This and UC Davis used to be the blow out tune ups we wondered if playing them did any good for strength of schedule. Now they are asking that about us. Seriously, how did the entire athletic department bottom pout this bad so quickly. We used to compete for conference titles and the Director's Cup.
If we still played Athletes in Action, they would be so far ahead in the first half that their players speaking with mics from the court at halftime would be leading prayers for us.

Same here - if I didn't have the channel I'd go to a sports bar and ask them to turn it on. Now I don't give a hoot - years of beyond incompetent play and I have completely lost connection with the program. I don't think I will get it back unless something miraculous happens ... But not holding my breath.
I simply just check in on scores and shake my head. That is my relationship to our basketball program.
Football seems to be slowly going down this same path.
