The Alumni Band had their reunion banquet tonight. It happens every 2 years the night before Big Game. And as someone else mentioned, the Cal Band has a bunch of commitments the night before Big Game. They usually have multiple busses going to different parties and bars to perform, plus performing at the Bonfire Rally.

Askew is perhaps the best player we have but he is not very good. Average quickness and athleticism. Average shooter. Turns the ball over a lot. Worse, after he turns the ball over, he doesn't run back on D. I would sit him for that.

I am in the alumni band no notice.

Utterly pathetic! Will we have a completely winless season? And if we lose like this at home to lowly Southern, what happens when we go to UCLA and Arizona?

It is scary.

Part of me wants Fox to have endure that, to be floor side for every game. At every post game. If we fire him now he gets a lump sum payment of maybe $6 million and gets to go sit on a beach somewhere telling people he was about to turn it around while his search firm tries to find an AD as dumb as Jim Knowlton (there isn't one). Such a scam.

The only problem is it would subject the players to him. If he was an a*hole before, it is only going to get worse.

At this point I would rather do whatever is best for the players. For the short term I think the fans should be the second priority.

Agreed. I think promoting Andrew Francis and letting him decide who he wants to keep (if anyone) is the best option for the players and the fans.
