Saw this comment on another post but will likely attribute the loss to not having the band present. And then proceed to use a random metaphor or analogy like the ugly girlfriend or the players needing to get hit by a bus

I find the title of this thread insulting. Clowns are generally hardworking entertainers that get paid little to nothing. Not remotely like Fox.

I am hoping that you have some inside knowledge, because otherwise, I'm not sure why we would attribute that level of competence to this AD.

Yes, with the escalation. That "trivial" $100,000 rounding error exceeds the total compensation of UC San Diego's head coach and is well above the average Bay Area income, but the problem is "Cal is so cheap and Fox was the only coach we could afford or would want to come here" (for $1.9 million per year!).
I say us brains at BI could coach by committee, feeding plays into an iPad on the bench, and go 0-3 for a lot less than $1.9M.
