As always (almost), I'll tune in on TV (not in bay area) and cheer for our players.

Until it looks like they are demoralized, at which point it is too painful for me to watch*. IMHO, this happened much more frequently under Jones than Fox. However, I've seen a bit of that lost player look this season as well.

*During the pandemic, I made a concerted effort to ween myself from my sport addictions. Knowlton (and Fox) along with COVID helped me out a lot from Cal Basketball, which was my worst affliction. I don't participate in any more fantasy leagues (although I do have a weekly running bet with an old friend on NFL). I've moved the Giants and Warriors to 'only in the playoffs' mode (along with MLB and NBA). I no longer wake early on weekends to watch Premier League. I sold my 49ers PSL and pretty much nap during Red Zone for my NFL fix.

The only season tix I still hold are Cal Football - and JK and friends almost screwed that up as well this year, when they screwed up parking passes and tailgating at the beginning of the season.

Is Fox still the coach? If yes, then HELL NO.

If no, then I might think about it for the next game because I got stuff to do tonight.

I coached my son's CYO teams. I contend that if I was the Cal HC this season the team record would be equal to or better than Mark Fox's record…..and I would do it for free and save the Number 1 Public University in the World $1.9M per year…..,
….and my wife would bring post game snacks….

……but I would pass gas and speak in tongues during all post game pressies.

I've decided to take this season off until there's a coaching change. It's just too hard to watch because most of the time I find myself rooting against the bears and that just feels wrong. Easier to not watch at all
