Fire the coach OR support the coach?

Before Cal fires another basketball coach, I have some basic questions about support?

Where is Cal on building a dedicated practice facility that is key to any program's success?
Where does Cal rank in comparison to all the other Pac 12 schools on the following?

1) assistant coaches salaries
2) travel budget
3) recruiting budget
4) admissions/transfer portal?
5) NIL dollars

Here's what the coaching history looks like:

Wyking Jones 16-47 poor hire
Cuonzo Martin 62-39 why did he leave?
Mike Montgomery 130-73 the outlier...unique situation
Ben Braun 219-154 Cal got tired of mediocrity...looks good now
Todd Bozeman 35-62 see Wyking Jones
Lou Campanelli 123-108 recruited Jason Kidd and turned the program around
Dick Kuchen 80-112 lasted six years

You inverted Bozeman's record.

Basically every coach has had some measure of success in the past 38 years but for the two atrociously incompetent coaches (our last two)

Though for actual game results Bozeman was 63-45 (.643) the best winning percentage since Newell or ever since.

Shareef, who I believe above anybody else and he has no reason to lie, still says his recruitment was clean, really did come to Cal for the academics and our world reputation in Islamic studies, and still stands by Bozeman. Even if you believe the Gardners, which I don't, we are now in the NIL era.

Cuonzo Martin had us undefeated at Haas, a #4 seed. Imagine if he could coach offense?

Cal basketball has HUGE potential. It just takes a good coach. Look at Gonzaga, St Mary's and San Francisco. Look at Cal with Newell and Monty. Or just a mediocre coach who is player friendly and knows how to sell Cal to top recruits like Bozeman, Braun and Martin.

What you can't have is a mediocre (or worse) coach that is not player friendly and cannot sell Cal to top recruits.

No, the Bozoman's record is shown correctly. He was caught cheating and Cal had to forfeit a buttload of games.

Irrelevant with regard to the OPs point

Only if you don't care about the cheating. Doubt he would have won as many games without it.

If he wasn't cheating with others (like the jeep-driving Tremaine Fowlkes), then he was easily the greatest recruiter in Cal history. I mean even the board-consensus pedestrian Braun was able to essentially take his bench to the Sweet 16. Interesting he was never able to repeat his recruiting prowess after he got busted tho.

Bozeman was the one that reported the agent that gave the Jeep to Tremaine Fowlkes to the NCAA. Look it up.

The same agent (Jelani's uncle) that was involved in the sting operation by Jelani's parents that took Bozeman down a year later after Jelani lost his starting role.
