A point guard is supposed to look for people. Kuany waving while open. Not even a look. I hope Askew does not come back.
Go Bears!
Sounds like a coaching issue, not to mention the need for him to be surrounded by more talent.oskidunker said:

He makes passes to Joel Brown, Kuany and Bowser on the wing.
Brown is always open. Won't take a shot because he can't. Kuany generally loses the ball on the dribble. Bowser is not a Pac-12 level player.
What's Askew supposed to do? They were 6-34 in the first half last night. The basketball talent on this team is not good.
Uh, maybe get the ball into Lars? I saw Askew do it at least once in an earlier game so he knows how. At the very least, Lars can draw a foul and his free-throws this year have been great. I am disappointed in Askew's court sense - I thought he'd be like Shepherd, but he's not.Alkiadt said:oskidunker said:

Lars has hands like bricks. He has a hard time holding onto passes thrown to him. Too many result in turnovers.HearstMining said:Uh, maybe get the ball into Lars? Nobody else on the team has any shooting ability. I never saw more missed layups than at last night's game. and no one on this team can make a 3-point shot.oskidunker said:

Don Coleman wants to return to be on a Fox team?calumnus said:
Do not blame Askew.
Mark Fox is all about man defense and hero-ball on offense.
Askew is just being asked to be Shepherd, who was asked to be Bradley, playing the role Kontavious Caldwell-Pope rode to SEC POY on a losing Fox Georgia team.
It is ugly basketball but it is Fox's trademark. It is what Knowlton hired, extended and is paying $1.9 million a year for.
