We had a couple of bad possessions but from what I saw in about the last 5 minutes of the 1st half the Bears actually looked pretty solid. Zona hit some shots that we didn't.

38-29 at the half. Cal playing decently. I'm taking the bag off my head for a little while (also makes it easier to breathe).

Askew, okay he monopolizes the ball too much, but at least he shows a little attitude and fire out there. Sometimes I wonder if he's about to explode though (like after the U$C game). Just out of curiosity, I wonder what his relationship with Fox is like so far.

Yeah, some guy on the Arizona bench (student manager or towel boy or something) was scrolling through his social media and laughing... during the game. I'd fire his azz, but maybe they relaxed the rules for this game only. Like a mini-vacation game.

Bears only down 59-52 with about 10 minutes left. Actually playing pretty well. Honestly, if we had played this well in 4 or 5 of those "tomato can" games, people wouldn't be asking "paper bags, please" when they go into Trader Joe's.

It doesn't change any of our fundamentals - Fox sucks and needs to go. But to be fair, they did look and play much better today. There were any number of things that were good. They just got beat by a better team.

looking at the box score (didn't see any of the game), it seems like Lars and Askew played very well. The other starters also had a solid game.

I'm sure Brown contributed to AZ's poor 3 point shooting with his good perimeter defense, but your senior PG should not have 4 turnovers (otherwise Cal's turnovers were low which is progress)

I don't think we want Roberson to take 4 shots either (unless they are at the rack)

His last shot was at the rack: He tried to dunk straight over a U of A big and got reverse-posterized. However, I appreciated his bad intentions.
