He can do the opening speech he did with his players when he first got hired.

The Butler did it. 82-56 final.

We almost reached 60. We almost reached 35% from the field. We almost reached 15% on threes. It's hard to prep when your starting SG returns and everyone has to go back to their normal positions.

On the good side, 8 turnovers is an improvement and we made most of our free throws.

I kinda feel like we didn't play very well today.

There may not be much more than 50 for UTA without any intentional boycott. Students gone for break, a Wednesday at 4 pm 4 days before Christmas. I'll be working, but will get home in time to see the end on TV. That game is made for an empty Haas.

If 0-11 shows that Fox is a great coach, as Monty said, what would be counter evidence to him being a great coach? Scoring no points in a game? Players not showing up for the game? I wish someone would ask him.

I think Cal alums would normally fill this up to 1-2K. This season it would maybe be right around 500 lol. But if we make a concerted push it really could be 100 but that would be production and SID guys, cheer, band and family.

2K and Sam are catch and shoot players and need to be setup with space.

Askew is the only player who can create

Lars is our best scoring option besides Askew but teams are double tripling him

Nowell is our next best offensive player and hopefully those open 3s go down. He rushed one of them

But he gets lost sometimes and overall this teams make lots of defensive mistakes like over helping or just not being in the right place. Howell cost us two 3s in the last game but Lars also made some defensive mistakes as a senior

2K has not fulfilled the potential I saw when he was a freshman

With such poor shooting I can't see this team getting at lot better but maybe if Clayton returns, Nowell finds his 3 point shot, and we improve our defense with experience

Besides their big, butler thrashed us because they played better team offense and defense.

Kuany and Joel are the same players they were as Freshman. I see zero development in them. Great kids, but they are no better than they were their first year in the program.

Agree. It's sad. Brown was never going to be a good shooter, but his overall game never got much better. In Kuany, I see a great guy with some skills, who never had a defined role and things he could gradually, systematically improve. Thiemann and Kelly improved, but what about the non-bigs?

Today, the defensive lapses were painful to watch... yet I keep watching. I guess that last part's on me.
