joel brown getting into the paint at will two games in a row, and finishing ... plus his standard lock down defense
the players were getting Lars the ball without standing and staring him down (except once) and he dominated the paint
2K was a stat sheet stuffer with 16 points, including 1-1 from 3 and 9-11FT, 6 rebounds, FOUR ASSISTS. He exited Haas high fiving everyone, including two people high in the stands. Bro has a lot of length and hops as he showed with his two blocks.
Roberson shows he can jump out of the gym, and went all air with bad intentions, only to get fouled. 2K saw him and said I can do that (but same result)
Robinson thought he was in the RSF and dribbled for 60 seconds with multiple behind the back, between his leg dribbles. That ain't going to work vs D1 defenders, but did manage to avoid a turnover, and later made a stumbling buzzer-beating shot.
freshmen walk on Jack McCloskey looked like a dear in the headlights when coach said he was going in. At least 5 players talked to him getting him ready for battle. The first time he touched the ball, he used a screen, got into the paint made a nice inside pass for the assist. He officially has a positive stat!
The Shockster (and his daughter) were in the Haas, and as promised he stormed the court and congratulated 7 foot Lars for his 8-10 17 points. Security nabbed him, but instead of kicking and screaming, the Shockster looked like he was inviting her out for dinner. He's a lover not a fighter.
the players were having fun today, with smiles all around. Christmas will be a little more Merry for the players
