In their 19 point win over Arizona, guard Couisnard scored 27 (it was also his first start since transferring from South Carolina). I think they found something. They have good bigs that always give us trouble.

The last time Cal beat Oregon at Haas, Cuonzo was our coach and Bird scored 24 and Brown, Rabb and Wallace all scored in double figures.

I would never bet against the Bears, but this one could get ugly. Fox may revert to slow ball.

we need to play aggressive offense

force the action and hopefully get some scores or get fouled

taking contested jumpers at end of shot clock ain't working

i think Brown should shoot some of those shots when he gets inside

Oregon has more height, more skill, more energy and is better coached. Cal can't switch to defend a simple pick and roll. And if Oregon starts hitting shots this will get a lot worse

I have no recollection of ever having seen a blocked ball become rim lodged like that.,,,and I have participated in and watched a sh@itload of hoop games in my lifetime. From that standpoint alone it was a worthwhile exercise watching this game.

*I was at a game where a guard died inbounding the ball.

It's something beyond that, like a reverse magnet in the ball when it gets anywhere near the hoop.
The worst is listening to Fox's pregame and postgame interviews on KGO, it's a form of torture having to listen to the long list of excuses every single game. Where's the ownership? The "I'm mad about this"? Need to see a speck of contrition from him at some point, but not gonna happen.
