Anyone else interested in doing a road trip to see all the amazing basketball practice facilities and nutrition programs across the state? Would love to see how these resource-laden schools like Cal Baptist, UC Riverside, and Sac State operate. Maybe we can incorporate some of their best qualities into the $120m facility Cal is planning.

No those are team rankings. In scoring we are around #350, one of the lowest scoring teams in the country, last in California for sure. We are ranked somewhat higher because our defense is somewhat better and we play at nearly the slowest pace in the country (#360 or so), which also reduces our opponent's scoring.

I've actually been there. I used to have a few friends that played basketball at Davis and went to see their game at Sac State once or twice. I remember thinking that their facilities were dinkier than my high school's gym. Pretty sure the same could be said of most of the schools ranked above Cal though.

For fun, only San Diego State of the CSU can compare to Cal's Haas:

San Diego State: 12,414 https://goaztecs.com/sports/2018/7/13/facilities-viejas-arena-html.aspx

Bakersfield State seating: 3497 https://hornetsports.com/facilities/the-nest/2

San Jose State seating 5000 https://sjsuspartans.com/facilities/provident-credit-union-event-center/3

Long Beach State: 4000 Walter Pyramid https://longbeachstate.com/facilities/walter-pyramid/2

CSU Northridge: 1600 https://www.csun.edu/licensing/athletic-facilities

CSU Fullerton: 4000 https://www.fullertontitans.com/facilities/index

Cal Poly SLO: 3,032 https://www.fullertontitans.com/facilities/titan_gym

UC Merced field a team? If so, I'd it too late to schedule them?
