What was Bowser's offensive game in HS? He's playing like he's a walkon like he's not trusted to do anything. He was like a high 3 star. I don't get it.

Louisville won vs Georgia Tech yesterday. now we both have 3 wins. It'll be very exciting to see who puts up the worst power conference team ranking of all time!
Northwestern has had several five win seasons. 1990-91, 1994-95 and 1999-2000.

Technically the fewest wins ever is 0 when Baylor went 0-17 in 1944-1945. But of course that was wartime and only 17 games. By statistical measures, the worst power conference team was Utah during their first season in the Pac (so again, kinda an asterisk). But even they managed to win 3 conference games and 6 total. As far as I am aware, in a 30+ game season (so Iowa state's 2-22 season before Covid shut things down is not counted), no power conference has ever won less than that, and I highly doubt we go on to win 3 more games.ncbears said:

In high school Bowser and Roberson looked like walkons at the pac12 level. They play exactly like they did then. Basketball players can round out their games a little, but generally you know who they are when they are 16. This is particularly true of points and wings, big guys take longer with their coordination.KoreAmBear said:

But I guess they were cogs in the master plan to recruit Jalen Lewis. That was never happening even if he went to college.
Anybody hear Monty say "Jesus!" in exasperation when Brown made a terrible pass for a turnover at around the 3::30 mark? Kinda funny moment amidst an ugly late-game collapse by the Bears.
