Technically the fewest wins ever is 0 when Baylor went 0-17 in 1944-1945. But of course that was wartime and only 17 games. By statistical measures, the worst power conference team was Utah during their first season in the Pac (so again, kinda an asterisk). But even they managed to win 3 conference games and 6 total. As far as I am aware, in a 30+ game season (so Iowa state's 2-22 season before Covid shut things down is not counted), no power conference has ever won less than that, and I highly doubt we go on to win 3 more games.
Realistically whoever is worse out of us and Louisville will end up having the worst power conference season in ncaa history. At least we avoided being the worst
D1 team ever.
