Bill Mellis, Salesian Head Coach and Cal Alum and basketball Student Manager under Campanelli just reached a milestone with his 600th win. Overall record 600-177, 2 State Titles

And one of his players this year, a 6'3 Freshman by the name of Leon Powe III.

good to hear. Went to DlS when Salesian was in our league. Thinking Choo Choo. Still, Claiborne was awesome at DlS then went back to McClymonds

Al brought with him a cadre of kids from oakland to play at DlS. With it he created a cable car classic with El Cerrito gauchos, castlemont, PV and other state top schools. Way before bearrister
