Has there ever been a smaller crowd for a game vs. a top 5 team?

Last night's crowd was absolutely pathetic. Even the student section behind the basket was sparsely populated. Was this the smallest crowd at Haas/Harmon for a game versus a top 5 team? If last night's game is not enough of a reason to rid the program of Fox then I do not know what is.

Hold on. Don't forget that all the students with COVID are injured and class is not in session. You can't get students to come to games if you only have one serviceable guard during practice. Its not my fault! Its not my fault!

or something like that.

Which gives me an idea. All the students should show up wearing Mark Fox tshirts and holding signs saying "Its not my fault"

When people are excited that Cal only lost by 22, somethingnis wrong. Its the same scenario every game. We never have a chance to win

I was at the game last night and made it a point to focus on the body language of the team.

Fox looked exasperated and checked out. He wasn't fuming and yelling at the players like he normally does. I can only hope that it's a sign that even he knows it's over. At one point he did blow up on Bowser, and when Bowser turned away from him, I saw an eyeroll.

Although the players gave great effort, there was no joy. They seemed tired and deflated. Alajiki usually gets amped when he scores and that barely happened even though he lead the team.

Lastly, it always makes me ill seeing Knowlton at these games smiling and gladhanding like everything is peachy. However last night, I barely saw him smile at all or get out of his seat. He looked disgruntled. GOOD.

Probably disgruntled because he's going to actually have to do his job for a change and dump that clown.

Or hopefully worried because the university has launched an investigation into his actions and inactions in the McKeever case.

Would they still be happy to learn that we actually lost by 23?

I'm pretty sure what you saw was Fox checking his phone to see if his most recent paycheck got deposited.
