Haase has changed his former nickname ("Mr. December") to "Mr. February"! Throw in the way he recruits (and the way he never passes up a meal) and Leland Stanford Junior University would be crazy not to lock him into a Knowltonesque contract!

Sonny Dykes just got his team to the National Championship Game, so he had arguably the second best team in the country. Mark Fox has us tied for worst P5 team in the country. Almost the worst winning percentage in the entire country.

not to make any excuses, but those two phantom fouls were horrible

one on Bowser near the end of regulation, and one on Sam when OT was a one-possession game

This one hurts even more because on the same night the Furd beat the No. 4 Wildcats, biggest upset at Maples this decade. How does this happen? Should have called the timeout at the end of regulation, we had a 3-second possession, so who knows, in an alternative universe…

Sonny was a good fit for Cal. Cal was just a bad fit for him (and most coaches at that time).
