There is no tarmac tonight. There is a bus to the hotel. Practice tomorrow for the game at #4 UCLA Saturday where the crowd will have their first chance to let us have it for whining to the Regents about how unfair it is that they hit invited to a viable conference and we didn't.

Tarmac on Sunday? Please!

We've played a fair amount in the 2nd half with Bowser at PG, three forwards, and a center. The combination isn't looking that bad and Bowser is the only Bear in double figures (plus 3 assists).

They hire the right guy though, and this feeling of utter hopelessness will disappear.

I think that's a risk Andy is willing to take. His grandkids will die of old age before Cal exacts revenge. If Monty was coaching our opponent, he would beat us by 100 on general principle.

Okofor continues to make plays. Some are off broken plays but he turns them into baskets. Also like his 15 footer when he has space and takes his time

He'll improve his defensive fundamentals with a year under his belt

Grant also had a solid game with the monster poster dunk over usc's 7 foot shot blocker

Bowser wasn't efficient but continues to show he is a shooter from deep and from mid range. He has the perfect size for a shooting guard

Somehow we out rebounded them, including 15 offensive rebounds

Petersen is such a tough guard with his herky jerkey up and under or long arm floater or finger rolls. The most unorthodox player in the conference and when he's hitting 3s is unstoppable

Celestine, Alajiki and Askew also are nice players for supporting roles if we bring in a couple of top players.
