Anyone been? Supposed to have great Pastrami.

I live in the area and finally made it there a couple of weeks ago, had the O.G. and it was excellent! The pastrami itself is very moist and flavorful - I think it's significantly better than Saul's. I got the coleslaw as a side and that was only alright (but good in the sandwich).

Is there enough meat in the regular size? May go Sat before the basketball game

The regular size had more than a enough meat for me (I wasn't able to finish it - so had some leftover for the next day). If you order at the counter, they will give you the rundown of how much meat is included. Unfortunately I can almost promise you that you will enjoy the pastrami more than the basketball game.

That would be the only reason i would go.

got sandos here for our Big Game tailgate. You won't regret going there.

The sandwich I had at Delirama was fantastic.

But I thought the pastrami was just ok. Katz's is the gold standard, and Delirama's pastrami was nowhere near that. But the rest of the sandwich was so good, I didn't mind too much.

Sandwich was excellent although cheese was so thin you could not taste it. Did not like the potatoes salad. More like mashed potatoes. I bought a bagle and it was outstanding, the best I have ever eaten but they are not cheap. Hand made but $3.00 each.

I asked if. Could just get a pastrami sandwich with cheese and no cole slaw. The woman said no .Very strange. But the coleslaw was great.
