Oh for the love of god. This would be just SO JK.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Miles

This is NOT a record that will inspire you. Nebraska figured it out - 7 years of mediocre work at Lincoln with ONE NCAA bid to show for it (can hear it now "But the Big10 is soooo hard and just like Georgia is a tough job")

56 and with EXCEEDINGLY limited west coast experience JK will feel "comfortable". He will tell you all about how Tim Miles is a turn around guru ("look at how he has gotten SJSU to play")

You MUST stop this train. MUST MUST MUST!!!!

The fact that his name is even listed as one of two names on the ESPN article after going 1-17 last year in-conference with San Jose St and "improving" to 7-8 in conference this year is scary

Fox & Miles:
- Did well early in their careers coaching at low-level schools
- Got p5 gig, were very middling
- These schools were "tough" draws (Georgia/Nebraska)
- Fired after those schools figured out they didn't have what it takes
- Unemployed for a year or two

Tim Miles has the added resume item of being rehired by SJS and going 1-17 in-conference last year.

I doubt the ESPN piece has any merit and hopefully threw his name out because he's a bay area coach now, but this would be an awful hire. Thankfully I think the donors will step in and stop the "search firm" from suggesting Tim Miles and Knowlton hiring him after a "great interview"
