There was a report that an investigation may have begun.

He just spent a year and $2 million on an investigation to justify firing/probably just paying the swim coach the $2 million(?) buyout after a year of horrible press and stories of terrible abuse.

I hope I am wrong but I don't expect he will be gone anytime soon. He will almost certainly be the AD when we hire the next basketball coach.

Any facts about JK's status are way above my pay grade, but I think it's safe to say that the Chancellor, at the very least, regrets giving him that lengthy extension. Baby steps.

The extension (to 2029…. seriously!) is why we have to suffer through more JK stories about his Army days, at least for four more years. No way they'll eat that many millions just to show him the door. But for God's sake can he get some real basketball consultants on the new coach search committee? His track record on hires so far is horrendous.
