Sjs offense looked ok. Attacking, not settling. Good defense .
Go Bears!

first time I heard Tim Miles being one of two candidates I just assumed it was a random rumor given SJS is close by
but ESPN radio just said that Georgetown coach, and Cal coach were fired today, and said the front runner for the Cal job is Tim Miles
Miles might have had success at smaller schools decades ago, but everything changed since then, and his Nebraska results were poor.
It would be a nightmare if Cal goes with Miles

They win close games. What a concept.stu said:
Um, SJSU finished 5th out of 11 in the mighty MW and needed overtime to beat 4th place Nevada. That might be better than expected for SJSU but IMHO we could do a lot better.
This. The league is VERY much a 1.5 team this year and SJSU got pretty much blow out by SDSU the one time (so far) they have faced them. I just am NOT impressed by the body of work.stu said:

Against mediocre teams. They're 90 in KenPom and that's mostly because they have Omari Moore, who is a senior and not a Miles recruit. They play slow, which I'd hate to see again at Cal. They won all of 3 games this year against top 50 teams according to KenPom.oskidunker said:They win close games. What a concept.stu said:

Miles, Fox and Knowlton go way back, though. I bet he interviews real well.BC Calfan said:
I really don't want Miles. I think we can do way better. The more we discuss the criteria, I just want a coach that will bring excitement back to the program. Let's take a chance on a young, charismatic coach with California ties.
It's crazy to me that Knowlton has this guy at the top of his list. He's Mark Fox 2.0
With guys like Knowlton.BeachedBear said:
