Who else is watching this game? I'm checking out Pasternack's coaching prowess and I'm pretty impressed by UCSB's play. Both of these teams would handle Cal easily.

I did watch it. It was a great game and I was impressed with both teams. The Gauchos try to run if they have an advantage off rebounds or turnovers. The Gauchos won by 5 after yielding a 13-2 early deficit. Their soph PG, Ajay Mitchell, is special. Other talent too with length and quickness. Kelly had a poor game and the UCR super frosh big, Olbrich, was not a good matchup for Andre.

Joe Pasternack saw this used Norris more on Olbrich, while going with 4 guards for much of the game. UCR's Zyon Pullin is a great player and a local kid from Pleasant Hill. I wonder if Cal even gave him a look?

I had that conclusion when I saw Georgia playing and Caldwell-Pope was playing hero ball. And again when Cal hired Fox and again at the player introduction video thing and again when they played their first game and their second and and and …. Until the moment he was fired by Cal.

Thanks for the recap and I am looking forward to watching the tournament berth game tonight. Pulling for Andre as He has been dealing with some very difficult stuff - such that His Mom has been extremely appreciative of JP's efforts to get Andre right/ positive mind set off the court. Go UCSB! The pt guard is special and very close to JP and thus would go with Him should he leave for another job.
