It is generally assumed that Bennett is happy and solidly entrenched in Moraga and we would be wasting time going after him. However, in today's "PAC 12 Hotline" Jon Wilner says he thinks Bennett would take the Cal job if Cal makes "a strong offer". First time I've heard that opinion but Wilner is the local guy for Bay Area sports.
So, this should be explored. He would almost definitely bring Aidan Mahaney (and a bunch of Aussies).

I'm not sure we are in a position to make a "strong offer" to anyone. Wouldn't want to jeopardize mbball's current profits.

Agreed. Further, I think that at this point, if Bennett leaves St. Mary's it will be for a bigger name program that has not dug itself as deep of a hole.
