Does anyone know who will be involved? Is Knowlton actually consulting with any of the people who have been recommended in this forum? Has a search firm been retained? Is anyone above Knowlton in the Cal hierarchy participating?

Hopefully, Knowlton knows.

But I am not confident in those hopes.

I've heard from a reliable source that Mike Montgomery, Ben Braun and a few high-profile former players are being consulted.

100% true - whether the best available decision will be made is TBD, JK is speaking with a large detailed list of basketball experienced people (HC's, x players, AD's, Agents etc) He completely realizes that this Hire has to be right and is approaching this time around, far different than before.

A search firm is always hired as an intermediary at minimum, hopefully Knowlton hires one who knows the west coast
