Once Gates clownstomps Princeton, every Allocco in attendance should be rolled up.

It appears disciplined and patient shot selection can be beneficial.

Mizzou is getting schooled. Princeton's defense and rebounding are as impressive as their offense.

If Mizzou loses today, will our board finally stop with its obsession with Gates?

I don't know if Gates is that good or not (his record at Cleveland state is average, at best). If he wasn't a cal bear, we'd never talk about him. Though, it shows that he is making zero adjustments (all Princeton does is drive towards the basket for layups or kick it out for threes)

Not that under athletic. Princeton has some players. Gates' team is getting schooled right now. If he is a good coach, he'll need to make some adjustments at half.

Mizzou went 12-21 last year, and now is in the round of 32 of the NCAA tournament. They have sold out several of their home games and set school records. They had the 7th ranked offense in the country this past season. Yes, part of this board's fascination with him is that he is from Cal... hence why it is so sad that we missed our opportunity last year to fire Fox and hire him. I think the obsession is warranted

I know from being a former lifetime Raiders and A's fan and an active and in good standing lifetime Cal fan, that my fandom is literally the kiss of death for the object of my affection. I put the "bad" in bad juju.

Getting absolutely killed on the O Boards. This game reminds me of many of cal losses. It's sad.

Lesson learned for Cal in this game: a smart coach with the ability to spot players others overlook can put a competitive team on the court.
The litany of reasons why we suck are nothing more than bullsh@it excuses.

44-29 board differential. That is how Princeton dictated how the game would be played.

Gates is a sore loser fouling and extending this game for minutes when it's already over.

My take is Mizzou didn't show any urgency until the last 4 or 5 minutes, by then it was too late.

We all know Princeton will admit anyone and their practice facility is second to none.

I'm not sure a lot of solid hoop players go to Princeton because "anyone can get in."

I guess Dennis Gates puts his pants on one leg at a time like most everybody else. I'm kinda surprised that, with his now-world-famous calm demeanor, he couldn't just slip into them, two-legged.

When I was a Cal senior, I had a bit of room on my schedule and looked around for a course on putting on pants. Was told that I would have to go to a CSU for practical stuff like that, though Cal did have a course on the Theory of Putting on Pants.

good question but moffet ceilings were low. Now the stacks? Potential.
Studied all over campus. Only regret is I didn't have consensual sex with a fellow student when the opportunity presented itself in one of those libraries.

Yeah, Moffitt was weird with such a low ceiling in the large main reading room. Guess you were supposed to be too engrossed in reading to look up. But speaking of low, I suppose most current students are reading on 6 inch phones or 13 inch laptops.

Nowadays the consensual sex is also online.

One year, I had a very annoying roommate and spent lots of time in Moffitt. Including many naps. At least in between all of the consensual RL sex.

The "T Buildings"? it was thirty years after WW II and, still, all I ever got in any of those was one Math section.
