If they somehow run into the Final Four and more, watch out.

No chance SDSU to Big10. But as I've been saying to my SDSU friends for weeks, Big12 is where they need to go. The Pac-X may not be here in 5 years, so who wants to move twice? SDSU would be very competitive in hoops and with Texas-Oklahoma leaving and the additions of BYU (a long time rival in old WAC), Central Florida, Cincinnati, and Houston, capturing a little west coast for B12 seems obvious. They'd probably get worked in football initially.

They could quickly be a football power, recruiting kids from Texas to San Diego would be easy with the weather and multiple games in Texas every year. San Diego no longer has the Chargers. Tiny Snapdragon could become a tough ticket.

They would be smart to play the PAC-12 against the Big 12 to force a favorable deal but I think they are 100% PAC-12. And I don't see the PAC-12 ever going away. Whoever gets left behind will keep the brand alive.

Not to divert into a different discussion, but you don't see the Pac ever disappearing? Interesting, I think many are cautiously optimistic, but it's definitely on the table at some point. Based on everything I've read, it seems like this next media deal maybe only be 5 years. I don't see a long term deal, particularly after the disaster of the last one. Then Oregon and Washington will decide what they want to do. If they stay, the Pac stays. If they leave, it's most likely history. Or a very watered down version with a bunch of new teams from other conferences as I'd fully expect the 4 corners to leave if UO and UW leave. How do you see it?
