Might be more active than this season's game threads.
Only Cal basketball can drive me to watch an NIT game hoping we land a coach from that pool.
Have always wanted to have a coach whose game moniker is "Mad Dog".

Announcers just talked about what a great program Madsen has built. Also mentioned about how he might be called away at any time because his wife is expecting and about due. Never mentioned Cal.

I don't really know who to root for here. Do I want Madsen to be done and get going at Cal or do I want him to have an NIT feather under his cap that could help in recruiting and or NIL

Winning isn't going to help recruiting. Losing and coming here a little early isn't going to make much difference. So since he is our guy now root for him to have success not because it matters to us but because it matters to him
They certainly play a style we haven't seen in recent memory. It's so weird seeing a team attack on O, no matter what, instead of going into slow it down mode. Also, their O is wide open but you can see structure where they get shots out of their offense. And they push the ball after steals. It is like, I don't know, real basketball.

I doubt he is transferable as he started at Akron and transferred once already.
But any team could use his stats.
I like that it's been a Madsen love fest. The camera and announcers love this guy.

It's so weird seeing Madsen react with enthusiasm when his players do something well.
bandaogo with the 3!! When is the last time a Cal center did that?

is playing in the NBA Africa league. Aziz Bandaogo was playing in this league before coming to America. Randle is now connected to this incubator of very tall basketball talent.
