Braun went 3-29 in conference his last two years there. I am not sure his endorsement would be helpful. Good spot for Sam though.

Braun found several under the radar jewels from overseas ... but they transferred to big time schools such as Oregon.

In fact the Rice transfer was how Altman got the ducks to the NCAA and on the map

I remember a claim of anti Persian bias…..which can decimate most elite hoop programs…but claim was against AD. Ben Braun is a great guy.

Sam was in the top 100 players out of 1700. I could not find the rest of the Cal transferring out. I bet somevtry to come back or end up at D2

I think Sam will be a very good D1 player before he is through. He was unfairly asked to do too much too early. He's got a lot of tools to be successful.
