We have better recruiting with 2 weeks under the mad dog then in 4 years under fox. Obviously there's no guarantees on how high he'll take the program but it's already being resurrected and resuscitated which is all most fans could have hoped for after the back-to-back debacles of Wykong and Fox.

Fardaws Aimaq is a legit center transfer and universally considered one of the top portal players this cycle and Jalen Cone should be our top scorer this season and was one of the top players coming out of HS

Madsen is a far better recruiter but is also a better motivator and Xs and Os coach. Most importantly, he is a good person, and will treat the players with respect and humanity, which should be a minimum but has too often been ignored under Knowlton.

Not a slight on Madsen, but the bar isn't exactly very high.

Madsen is doing great and hope he keeps momentum going.

That is Anywanu's rating out of high school, not his transfer rating.

Askew was rated 4 stars .9886 out of high school and 3 stars, .8600 as a transfer (same as Cone), same as Hyder out of high school.

Take it all with a huge grain of salt.

It's an interesting new recruiting world where those star ratings don't mean a damned thing for portal transfers with the exception of maybe the highly rated guy who didn't light things on fire or get much PT his freshman year and wants a change of scenery.

These guys coming in are four-year players and you know what you're getting at that point.
