I'm going to miss this guy. There were only two players on the team last year who I felt knew how to make good decisions with the ball, and Clayton was one of them. The other was Celestine, who rode the pine all season with an injury, and didn't play a single minute. Having so many players who don't make good decisions with the ball, makes for losing basketball, especially when the team is trying to play fast, because that is the style of play where making decisions with the ball is really important, even critical.
Clayton played in only 9 games due to injury, but he played in 2 of Cal's 3 wins, and contributed 36 points and 9 assists in those 2 wins. His 26 points and 6 assists against Stanford was particularly memorable. I wish him the best, and hope he heals up enough to play a full season, wherever he goes.
