Seems like two weeks after we read her a player is coming here it takes two weeks to get an official announcement. Are they still working with admissions?

So the latest two are still in the works?

I don't think any more silents are out there for hoops, Cal is in good with Tyson, but he is still tripped to KU and Oklahoma. MB said that sometimes (and this is truly a sign of the times), guys may commit but it may take a few days or more for them to have their designer to make their social media post "edit", those graphic images you see recruits posting.

I think it is similar to high school recruiting.

Pretty sure the school cannot comment on the player until they have signed a scholarship agreement or enrolled or crossed some other official threshold. The player has no restriction and can announce the minute he/she has verbally committed. I guess the school can give them imagery to post, but the player has to post it.

Yeah the school can't comment on players till they sign an LOI for high school players or JC transfers or until they sign a scholarship agreement if they're a portal or grad transfer. That always happens later than the players announce.

So, in theory, every single one of these portal transfers -- in football and basketball -- could vanish into thin air and leave us high and dry and even worse than last season, begging for a presence like a Chris Street or a Lars Thiemann. Great.

I would hate to be a psych for college coaches
