I was surprised to see the regular season series was tied 2-2 with each team winning games by almost the same margin.

Of course Austin is no Pistol.

I used Pistol's Homework Basketball videos to teach my kids hoop. Austin's move on Curry where he faked right, came back left, through the legs, then crossed over behind the back and a falling down fadeaway was right out of the video on ball handling.

I really meant to say that Pete was an influence on Austin's game, you know, like Tom Petty was no Roger McGuinn, but he was influenced by him.

The altitude may be a big deal given the age of the Lakers and that the Nougats have HCA. Only one day off between games. Lake Show needs to go hard for Game 1. A Game 7 in Denver is not appealing.

Luckily, Denver always seems to underachieve.

Pretty easy for Aaron Gordon to draw a foul on a fast break when he was getting sealed off, picks up his dribble and the ref blows the whistle on his 8th step.

Weird to see the Joker cast off a bomb with a tick left on shot clock and have no reaction when it shreds net other than to look slightly embarrassed at the reaction it drew.

*My speculation: She was up for consensual sex, he wanted kinky, she opted out, and he said too late. Technically rape? Sure, in most states. For most juries too many "yeses" before the "no," and with a celebrity defendant? Good luck (unless it was tRump). It only takes one juror to hang it.

In the old days a judge would have pinballed you around the Civil courtrooms for a couple of days if no Criminal case would take you. They loved f@ucking with people trying to play chess and not get picked. Now judges are weak, like society is.

As someone who is not an attorney I always wonder what the lawyers are looking for. Sometimes the reasons seem obvious but often it seems totally random to me.

One time the judge had us all answer a questionnaire before we entered the court room. It asked us things like if we had relatives who were police officers. The case was about a man on parole who was found in possession of a gun. I was booted off.

Only one time did I make it all the way to a trial. It was a case about unpaid child support and the guy was his own attorney. It was a disaster for him.

Same height as Maravich.

Pistol Lite had virtually the same stats in Game 2 that he had in Game 1:
50% from the field; 55% from arc with 22 points (identical shooting percentages in Game 1 with 23 points).

Lakers had a shot at taking one of these two.

Now they are in trouble.

One game at a time.
