With the new coach, new offense and new players it's our opportunity to change the Cal basketball narrative

It's time to return to Haas, help win games by restoring our home court advantage, and show recruits that Cal basketball is back

I started watching the Bears in person during Brian Hendricks first year. Until a couple of years ago, I would be on the east coast following the team... if only pathetically from the espn game tracker. But then I couldn't watch.

I'm excited. I think Cal will become the premier program on the west coast because we're in the ACC. We're going to own west coast talent, better exposure than the Pac-12 could provide and everyone else is going to an inferior conference. That's the narrative I'm going with.

Haas is really a great venue. Easy walking distance from BART and downtown or Telegraph and Southside. If we can just rebuild the student section, opposite side of the cameras, press box and expensive seats, courside, baseline to baseline…..

This is an interesting thought. What if you showed a db meter on the scoreboard and if the crowd noise went above a certain level, Cal students would get in free for the next game?
