apparently I'm the only one who thinks it funny. Which happens to me all the time.
It's in reference to his post game interview answer. The reporter asked him something along the lines of; decades from now when you retire what will you remember most about this night and his answer was - MONTE BOWSER.

Now I think it's funny but I didn't get it without the context.

BTW I agree with Madsen. Bowser, who wasn't expected to play much of a role, came in when he was needed and played very well. Without his contribution we lose.
