First half was torture, second half was at least competitive, but admittedly being guilty of looking for positives too often I have a couple of subtle compliment for two of our guys.
Jalen Celestine. One trait that I wish the rest of the guys would pick up from Jalen on the offensive end, is that he keeps his game and purpose simplified. Take the 3 when you have the room, use your driving ability when you're defender is too tight. As talented as a guy like Tyson is, sometimes he simply tries to do too much. Now I know it's easy for me to critique this after watching an opponent like Arizona, but moving forward I hope these guys will realize that they're more effective when they combine their mental focus with their skills. Again, I think JC best exemplifies that.
Devin Askew. Last night was the first time in a long time that as a fan I was good with Askew being in the game. He really showed fire and aggresiveness. I still feel that his skills are somewhat limited, but if he can give us the kind of minutes he did last night, then moving forward into the season he will be a plus.
