I am feeling like an old grouch, but is there anybody else that is miffed about our New Year's Eve tip off time?

I feel like last year it was early enough to go to the game and still do something with the evening after. This year it seems like it is either, or… and that means missing the game at my house. Did TV make us do this or was it our brilliant AD's office thinking we'd like to spend NYE in our car, driving home?

Disappointed. Not like we have had a bunch of chances to see the team win. I will be sorry to miss one.

TV probably dictated this (like everything else) but I agree it's a horrible time for a game in Berkeley.

Not only is it tough to get back for a New Years eve event, it will end when everyone is trying to go to their New Years eve event

good news is forecast says no rain

Definitely a TV thing with the P12N showing four consecutive games starting at 11am.

I'm an old guy myself, but generally don't most New Year's Eve plans focus around midnight? Game ends at 7, we're talking about a 5 hour window here, not exactly a squeeze.

Our celebration ENDS at 12:01, maybe:05…

7:30 is a more likely game end. I would be lucky to be home by 9. I suppose dinner could start the moment I walk through the door. I'm sure the folks at home won't mind getting everything ready and then waiting for my arrival.

Not really how things work at my house.

Last season, the game on 12/31 was against Colorado and started at 3 pm. Only 1,253 attended. Game lasted 1 hour and 55 minutes. And we won 80-76!!
