Okay, can the coach and the players watch the ten second clip from his famous press conference? You folks all know the famous quote.

I know this can't really be true, but it feels like the coach and players have the mentality of "we play the way we play" with no consideration of time and score, game situations, common sense. I understand the concept of putting out your best effort regardless of the outcome but come on.

Two points: In a matter of five seconds Grant ruined his best performance of the season by deciding to stare at the ASU player retrieving a loose ball.

Number two. Turn the ball over down by one with 36 seconds remaining and MM decides NOT to foul with a 5.9 second differential on the shot clock? And ASU was still NOT in the double bonus. Did MM really expect to win it that way? In reality, even with the rebound off the free throw with 4.5 seconds left, JT only made it barely past half court.

Brutal.

This is a collection of guys who for some reason decided to move on from their previous teams. There is no there, here.

That factor by itself does not correlate to the fact that this team, including the coach seems more focused on performing than winning. Now while I realize that isn't really the case in reality, I'm just saying that this is the perception that I'm feeling when I watch these games. And sometimes as they say, perception is reality.

I don't know if Madsen has anybody on his staff who excels at game strategy. If not and if he could get Montgomery to agree, Madsen would certainly benefit from reviewing game video with him to discuss game situations like this. We all agree this is one of Montgomery's strong suits.
