I usually think that Don Maclean does balanced commentary in his games, but it's anything but that tonight. 80% of his comments is relative to USC. He didn't just say Cal is having trouble getting the deficit under 11 points, but he several times said that they CAN'T do that. Announcers and color guys aren't supposed to make one of the teams into the Washington Generals.

In Don Maclean's defense, USC has been leading for 80% of the game. He has also continuously mentioned that Cal is still in the game. We have only ourselves to blame for why announcers don't wax poetic about us.DenBear said:

Well I think Brown might actually be better all things considered but can't afford to lose Cone (just need him to play smarter)
