11 years ago, we beat SC in an epic comeback in Berkeley. The Thursday prior we had smoked UCLA. This was one of those classic potential let down games, and in fact the first 35 minutes of the game looked like just that.
This was a game where Haas was at its most gloriously rabid. The Saturday night crowd just willed energy into the team. Yes, there was the mildly controversial shove by Monty with Crabbe, but then Crabbe and Cobbs were on fire. It was absolutely deafening in there and the crowd affected several SC turn overs down the stretch.
