Jaylon Tyson's transformation at Cal has already convinced one recruit to come to Cal (Stojakovic). Tyson being selected at 20th was the icing on the cake. It's safe to say that a lot of good players are going to want to play at Cal. Will that persuade Harwell?

Good college coaches send players to the NBA (Cal was represented in the draft for the first time in seven years). During those 7 years, Mark Fox and Wyking Jones were coaching.

Mark Madsen provided us with a glimpse of what's to come.

Not just hired them, but in Fox's case, extended them!

It's neither old nor tired when we still have the same AD who made the horrible hires (basketball and football) and then compounded the damage by extending their contracts.

He did, and he got really lucky Madsen did not take the BYU or Stanford jobs. Can't say he doesn't live a bit of a charmed life getting $1.3 million a year doing the bare minimum with an 8 year guaranteed contract from a place he hates and only has to visit (at their expense) every so often.

What is also awesome has been seeing this great relationship between Tyson and the Cal program!!! I look forward to that continuing. Can help out in so many ways!!!
